Medical Assistant

Full-Time

iCare Medical Group is looking for a motivated Medical Assistant with exceptional patient interaction, strong organisational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to support daily operations in a family practice setting. This role is ideal for someone who communicates well, thrives in a fast-paced clinic, and helps keep the team and patient flow on track.

$18.00-$21.00/hour

About This Role

This Medical Assistant role supports both patient-facing and front-desk operations within iCare Medical Group's family practice environment.

The right candidate brings compassion, kindness, and respect to every patient interaction while also helping the clinic stay organised, responsive, and efficient throughout the day.

Cross-training is provided to help build a well-rounded medical team and support broader clinic coverage when needed.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Greet and treat patients with compassion, kindness, and respect.
  • Check patients in and out and schedule follow-up appointments.
  • Answer phone calls, check messages, and return calls according to protocol.
  • Assist with other front-desk duties as assigned.
  • Support daily operations and help maintain strong coordination within the family practice team.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of previous medical assisting experience or equivalent preferred.
  • Team player with a pleasant attitude toward coworkers and patient services.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and professional ethics.
  • Ability to read and write general correspondence and messages.
  • Ability to speak effectively and kindly with patients, physicians, and collaborators.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in fast-paced situations.
  • Must speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday.
  • Possible Saturday or Sunday coverage as needed.
