Patient Transport Driver

Full-Time

iCare Medical Group is seeking a reliable, professional, and dependable driver to support patient transportation and other company-related driving needs. This role combines weekday patient transport with a recurring Friday school route to El Segundo and occasional Saturday coverage when needed.

Primary Coverage

Monterey Park, Rowland Heights, and assigned local routes

$19-$22/hour

Schedule

Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed

About This Role

This position supports iCare patients by providing safe and punctual transportation to appointments and other designated destinations.

In addition to patient transportation, the driver will handle assigned company-related trips and a recurring Friday school transportation schedule to and from El Segundo, with patient transport scheduled between those trips.

Mandarin or Cantonese is required for this role, and English is strongly preferred.

Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday: primarily responsible for patient transportation.
  • Friday: transport an executive's daughter to and from school in El Segundo, with patient transportation scheduled between those trips.
  • Saturday: may be required occasionally based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport patients to and from appointments and other designated locations.
  • Provide transportation for company-related needs as assigned.
  • Ensure passengers arrive safely and on time.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and respectful manner when interacting with patients, family members, and staff.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Follow all applicable traffic and safety regulations.
  • Assist with other transportation-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly dependable.
  • Professional and courteous when interacting with patients.
  • Previous experience transporting patients or working as a company or personal driver is preferred.
  • Comfortable driving to different locations, including El Segundo.
  • Flexible to work occasional Saturdays when needed.
